Detailed Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to your hotel, and meet your trekking guide for a briefing.
Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding
Early morning flight to Lukla (2,860m) and trek 3-4 hours to the riverside village of Phakding (2,652m).
Trek to Namche Bazaar
Trek through pine forests and across high suspension bridges to reach the bustling Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar (3,440m).
Acclimatization Day in Namche
Hike to Everest View Hotel for panoramic views, then visit the local markets and Sherpa Culture Museum.
Trek to Tengboche
Trek to Tengboche (3,867m) through forests of rhododendron and juniper, home to the famous monastery.
Trek to Dingboche
Gradual ascent to Dingboche (4,410m) with spectacular views of Ama Dablam and Lhotse.
Acclimatization in Dingboche
Guided acclimatization hike to Nangkartshang Peak (5,083m) for views of Makalu and the Imja Valley.
Trek to Lobuche
Trek across the alpine desert to the settlement of Lobuche (4,940m) beneath the towering south face of Nuptse.
Everest Base Camp & Gorak Shep
Reach Everest Base Camp (5,364m), explore the glacier, and return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Kala Patthar Sunrise & Pheriche
Pre-dawn ascent of Kala Patthar (5,545m) for unforgettable Everest sunrise, then descend to Pheriche.
Trek Back to Namche Bazaar
Descend through Tengboche to Namche Bazaar, retracing the trail through the beautiful Dudh Koshi valley.
Trek to Lukla
Final trekking day back to Lukla, celebrating with the local community in the evening.
Fly to Kathmandu
Morning flight back to Kathmandu with amazing aerial views of the Himalayas. Farewell dinner.
